Six years managing e-commerce taught me more about real systems than any course could — integrating APIs, keeping product data clean, making sure things didn't break across four different sales channels at once. Somewhere in there I realised the part I actually loved was the backend work, not the storefronts.
So I started building on my own. A full-stack app with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker, from the database up. Before that, in my final year at uni, I helped train a CNN from scratch as part of a four-person team project.

Ran Shopify sites for multiple retail brands and built a custom shipping calculator in Flask to price delivery at checkout. Managed a catalogue of 4,700+ products, led expansion into four sales channels, and built a brand's website from the ground up.
